Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Gives
Our agent-led service initiative Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Gives is dedicated to facilitating and creating new opportunities for agents and staff to invest in our communities. We partner with local organizations on volunteer projects, fundraise, and provide resources to agents who are organizing their own community events. Our goals are rooted in the company mission and core tenet that we are committed to improving all that we touch.
- Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Gives helps agents get involved with their communities in order to give back, build connection, and broaden their sphere to enrich lives.
- We will honor the commitment of long-term support for the Institute for Human Services; the basis of which is a shared mission of helping people find a place to call home and opportunity to make an impact.
- We are motivated to fulfill our corporate responsibility to put forth good work and take care of the areas and people that we serve.

The Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices for Institute for Human Services Housing Fund
As part of our long-term commitment to the Institute of Human Services and our shared values in helping people find a place to call home, we are committed to raising money for the Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Hawai’i Realty for IHS Housing Fund. Our fundraising efforts include a commission-based donation program and events.
This fund is designed to help families in need of emergency funds to keep people in their homes and prevent them from falling into homelessness. The funding will include preventative measures such as: rental deposits, rent relief, and utility deposits. The goal of this fund is to support qualified families, that don’t fit the criteria for state and federal assistance programs, so they can receive the help they need.
